Every four years the department organises an international conference about the theory of machines and mechanisms. This conference is traditionally organised under the auspices of the international organisation IFToMM and the Czech Society for Mechanics. The last conference was attended by a total of 35 specialists, 21 of whom came from 14 nations around the world. The next fourtheenth conference will be held in 2024.
